Stamvader Pieter Zeeman born about 1725 was from Amsterdam. He was the son of Cornelius Zeeman and Johanna Mulder. Pieter married Catharina Verbeek on 18 March 1753. Catharina was the daughter of Jan Verbeek from Rotterdam and Dorothea Raats
