Christoffel ARMBRECHT came from Bodenwiler. According to Schoeman, p 595 in 1702 the freeburgher Christoffel Armbrecht agreed to purchase a slave from Olof Bergh, in exchange for another slave of Bergh"s, since he wanted to marry her. He already had a child with her and was raising the child as his own.

Hoge, states that Armbrecht had a son Wilhelmus 3 October 1700 by Elisabeth MARKENSE, also known as Lijsbet VAN DE KAAP. He was a shoemaker from 1702 - 1703.
